The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) has launched a 32 unit senior citizens apartment in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx.
The building is being constructed through the Privately Financed Affordable Senior Housing Program and is anticipated to receive a Tax Exemption through the 421a Tax incentive program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. Individuals or households that have at least one household member who is 62+ years of age at the time of application and meet the income and household size.
661 Manida Street Apartments is offering 32 newly constructed apartments for seniors in the Hunts Point section of the Bronx.

Only send one application per development.
Tenant is responsible for electric including electric heat.
A percentage of units are set aside for:
5% Mobility
2% Vision/Hearing
Preference for a percentage of units goes to:
100% 62+
50% Community Board Resident
5% NYC Employee
