The Sauti Yetu Center for African Women & Families will soon be launching The Hands Project! They are hosting focus groups (with compensation!) to gather input on a book they have written for girls ages 14-18, and they want to hear from the community. The Community Wellness at Sauti Yetu Center For African Women and Families, whose primary aim is to support the holistic health of the community through various initiatives, has launched this booklet as a result of years of collecting information. The Focus Groups will get an opportunity to preview the booklet, give feedback, and at the same time get compensated for their time.
Lets support this initiative by sharing with our sisters and daughters. If you have a daughter between the ages needed – 14 to 18, please make sure she signs up to be part of the focus group. Ultimately, the outcome of the focus group would help influence any changes, if any, to the booklet, which will be distributed to the community.
