More People Now Eligible For Emergency Rental Assistance (ERAP) Program

Beginning this past Wednesday, September 15, renters previously ineligible for the program can apply for funding through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). Specifically, households earning between 80 percent and 120 percent of the area median income, a group that was previously not permitted to apply for ERAP, is now eligible. 

For the Bronx, this means that the households earning at the following income levels or below are eligible for ERAP: 

1-person household: $100,320
2-person household: $114,600
3-person household: $128,880
4-person household: $143,160
5-person household: $154,680
6-person household: $166,080
7-person household: $177,600
8-person household: $189,000
9-person household: $200,400
10-person household: $211,900
11-person household: $223,350
12-person household: $234,800
