“Vax To The Movies” is back this weekend, as New York City pushes Vaccine access

In another attempt to expand access to vaccine, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that the “Vax to the Movies” initiative that will bring pop-up vaccination sites to select movie theaters across the city, will continue this weekend, along with “In Home Vaccine” for ALL New Yorkers.

The details are as follows:

Dates: Friday, October 22nd – Sunday, October 24th

Bronx Location: AMC Bay Plaza Cinema 13 – 2210 Bartow Avenue, Bronx, NY 10475

Time: 12PM – 5:30 PM

Vaccines Available: Pfizer and J&J

Incentives: $100 for anyone getting their first dose

“You can get vaccinated right outside the movie theater and go in and enjoy the movie,” the mayor said, adding: “We have found this mobile sites, these pop up sites are some of the most successful things we’ve done in the vaccination effort.”
